Dog runs & kennels
Custom dog runs and kennels for homes, breeders, boarding facilities, and shelters.

Overview
A dog run keeps your pet contained without fencing your whole yard. It protects landscaping and pool areas and gives your dog a dedicated space outdoors. Comet Fence fabricates in-house in Pompano Beach, so we can build runs to fit your space instead of a kit-store size.

Common questions
How big should my dog run be?
It depends on your dog's size and how long they will spend in it. We recommend dimensions during your free estimate so your dog has room to move, rest, and stay cool.
What is the best material for a dog run?
Chain link is the most popular choice. It is strong, affordable, and lets air flow, which matters in Florida heat. For larger or stronger dogs we recommend heavier-gauge wire and reinforced framing.
Can you add a cover or roof?
Covered runs provide shade and rain protection and keep dogs from climbing out. Ask about cover options at your estimate.
How do I stop my dog from digging out?
We can add a dig guard along the bottom of the fence or a concrete border so your dog cannot tunnel under.
Do you build kennels for commercial facilities?
Yes. We build multi-run kennel layouts for breeders, boarding facilities, shelters, and clinics.
